Rostek offers a range of stainless steel and powder-coated table bases. All of our RFL and RSQ series table bases feature a floor baseplate that is .43" thick, making it suitable for heavier solid table tops. Many of our competitors will offer .25" thick with is too light for heavier tops and is prone to flexing.
We manufacture our stainless steel table bases using a #304 grade stainless that is commonly used in the food industry. This is a much higher grade material than the 201 grade used by other stainless tables on the market.
Rostek columns have a sturdy wall thickness of 1.5mm versus the industry standard of 1mm. The heavier the wall thicknesss, the less flexing of the column.
Our mounting plates are pressed steel rather than cast iron. This insures a flat mounting surface when fastening a top to the base
